Best KG-7 Vulcan Loadout in Modern Warfare 4

October 30, 2026 · 3 min read

On this page

The KG-7 Vulcan is the sniper to use in Modern Warfare 4. CODMunity and warzoneloadout.games rate its Sniper build Absolute Meta, fourth overall in that playstyle, and wzstats ranks it first among snipers. Dexerto gives it A-Tier, and the gun is available from level 4. Our verdict is to pick this over the other two snipers unless you already prefer them. This applies to multiplayer on the launch balance, with no change listed in the 28 October update.

Best KG-7 Vulcan loadout

CODMunity publishes this six-piece build, code R04-2G9Q4-VHSNN-51. warzoneloadout.games confirms the muzzle, barrel, optic and Apex in its shorter four-piece version.

Slot Pick What it does
Muzzle Ivanov QR600 CODMunity lists a 10% range reduction
Barrel TT Baem 12 Short barrel; effect not listed
Bolt KT76 Light Bolt Cuts rechambering time 16%; adds 32% ADS and 19% hip rechambering accuracy
Optic Schlager 7x Optic; effect not listed
Comb TT Type 40 Comb Cuts ADS idle sway 10% and hip idle sway 5%; slows ADS movement 4%
Apex KG-7 Drillcharge No listed cost; CODMunity calls it a free benefit
Perks Ninja, Quick Fix, Scavenger wzstats' set: quieter movement, health regen on kills, ammo from kills
Equipment Semtex, Stim wzstats' pairing

Why this build works

Dexerto's description credits the gun with high capacity and a higher fire rate for quick follow-up shots, and Gamerfuzion lists 10 rounds at 41 rounds per minute. The KT76 Light Bolt plays directly to that strength, with a 16% cut to rechambering time and better accuracy while rechambering.

CODMunity says the KG-7 Drillcharge carries no cost to the rest of the gun, but it does not list what the attachment changes. It also does not publish time-to-kill figures for this build.

How to play it

Take long angles but do not sit still. The quicker rechamber lets you line up a second shot sooner, so you can punish a target who survives. It is still weak up close, so keep a fast secondary and leave when enemies close in.

Alternative setups

wzstats (ADS speed focus): Ivanov QR600, Haebang Naseon v.5 26", Haebang YNC-45, TT G76-RP Stock, Schlager Visiv-5. wzstats lists the same parts for DMZ. This is the most different of the published builds, so opinion is split on the details.

Low level (wzstats): Hanbit 3080 Fireline, DS RKT-90, TT Baem 12", TT Type 40 Comb, Schlager Visiv-5. Everything arrives by weapon level 14.

Mobility (CODMunity, code R04-2G9PV-17881-51): Ivanov QR600, TT Baem 12, KT76 Light Bolt, Schlager 7x, TT G76-RP Stock, KG-7 Drillcharge. The stock cuts ADS time 7% and adds 5% recoil.

DMZ sniper (CODMunity, code R04-3K9Y5-K3BA9-1S11): Gauge-12 Mono, Haebang RMT762 29, Bruen KG-7 Mk. IV, 7.62x54mmR High Velocity, KG-7 Drillcharge, TT Type 40 Comb.

Unlock notes

The KG-7 Vulcan is available from level 4, when Create-a-Class opens, per Gamerfuzion. It takes 75 weapon levels to max, and the KG-7 Drillcharge is the level 75 reward.
